Hi there- I am an almost Colorado Springs native with a love and passion for everything Swissy. I began my journey 14 years ago with my first GSMD Nellee. I instantly fell in love and have been showing and breeding for 12 years now. We just had our 22nd litter of puppies. My dogs are a part of our family and although I appreciate a strong “working drive” in our breed, I will not compromise working drive for a poor temperament. As a mother of 3 little boys I will not tolerate aggressive or timid dogs. Health clearances and conformation are also very important to me and I do both, BUT temperament is right up there when making my breeding decisions. I want your future Swissy to be a confident and bold, yet easy-going member of your family. I only breed a couple times a year and I have a waitlist and require deposits for my future litters. However on Facebook you will see all of our most recent news as well as invites to our next dog show or puppy Open House. These events are an excellent opportunity to meet us and our dogs. Visit the GSMDCA.org website and familiarize yourself with ALL of the working activities and AKC events your dog can enjoy and compete in. My dogs are bred with purpose. Yes they make great family pets, but they are capable of so much more. Anytime a family expresses an interest in competing or working on titles like pack hike, drafting, herding, obedience, rally, confirmation and so on.
